Scheveningen is a seaside resort just outside Den Haag (The Hague) and about a 40 minute train journey south of Amsterdam, making it an excellent getaway from the city. The expansive sands, large pier and trendy beachside bars and restaurants make this the ideal location to chill out and take in the sights as the sun sinks into the sea on the horizon.
