Cobh is located just outside the city of Cork in the south of Ireland. This colourful little coastal town is full of character with strong maritime connections. The town was the final port of call of the Titanic on its fateful journey across the atlantic in 1912.
There are also monuments in memory of the many thousands of Irish families who left the island during the Great Famine, many travelling to America and setting up a new life there.
